This Gamay is absolutely wonderful, reflecting the heat of that exceptional year. A light fruity red wine. From Domaine de Beudon.

This wine is not filtered and has an uncharacteristic deep colour.
Jacques Granges-Faiss grows his grapes on the most spectacular site high above the Rhone valley in Switzerland. To get to his house and vineyards one can either walk for one hour up the mountain side or take the cable car. There is no road leading up and grapes have to be transported down by cable car. His wines are very rich and display the terroir beautifully.
