In 1978, Amadio-Franco and Natalino Fasoli planted the first Merlot vines in order to determine the potential of the soil for this variety. The first wine, marketed after 10 years of development, was so encouraging that they decided to plant Merlot vines also in the "Calle" vineyard which is similar in soil and micro climate to that of "Orgno". This wine has great structure, aromas of licorice, very powerful and endlessly smooth. Serve at 18°C.
