Aged in 25hl oak barrels for 18 months, Barbaresco then continues its aging process in the bottle. The Barbaresco 1994 from PUNSET was selected by “The Wine Spectator” as one of “the top 100 wines of the World” in 1996. The Wine Guide 2005 called this Barbaresco "The perfect introduction to the Nebbiolo grape". Absolutely gorgeous wine and wouldn't you know it - made by a woman. Maria Marcarino took over from her father and has turned Punset into one of the top producers in Piemonte.
